New Beginner Classes Forming Now for Grade School, Middle School, High School, Home School, College Age & Adult, & All Skill Levels!

The North Georgia Fencing Center offers classes in the fundamentals of Olympic style fencing beginning with basic footwork, and bladework. The students can then progress to intermediate and advanced level fencing classes including group footwork & bladework sessions as well as open fencing sessions using electronic scoring equipment to fence Foil, Epee, & Saber.

Our new beginner fencing classes are usually offered every 4 to 6 weeks and lasts 4 weeks (1 hour per week) The cost is $80. Students will learn basic footwork and bladework as well as the theory of fencing. There is no equipment required for the beginner class. Classes are open to all ages from 8 years old to adult. Yonger students may be accpeted based upon their ability to maintain focus. Please email us with younger than 8 years old student requests.

Upon completion of the beginner class, students may purchase fencing equipment thru our club or on their own. Typically the cost of equipment is between $130 to $250. Also upon completion of the beginner class, students can join the fencing club for $75 per month for unlimited access including daily group classes. private lessons are also available. The beginner class is 4-1 hour sessions over 4 weeks. No equipment is required for the beginner class (basic fencing equipment can be purchased which includes mask, Glove, practice foil, and fencing jacket at the conclusion of the beginner class). Intermediate and advanced fencing classes are also offered on and ongoing basis using electric scoring machines
